Lewis River Tackle is a company founded in the Salmon, Trout, and Steelhead rich waters of the Pacific Northwest. We specialize in jigs hand tied with these fish in mind. Our Jigs are the "Rainbow’s End" line, originally created in the Kodiak Alaska fishing grounds. These jigs were found to be so effective in the Alaskan Waters that they quickly caught on in the Pacific Northwest and are now used with incredible results in this corner of the country. All are hand tied here in the Northwest.
All of our jigs feature a baked on powder coat paint. The hooks are the Eagle Claw 630, very sharp with durability enough to hold up to continued abuse by rocks, sand, and fish. All sizes are extremely tough and difficult to bend or break.
Our jigs are made primarily made using marabou or synthetic hair. The hair has proved to hold up well through repeated usage, keeping it’s shape time and again; its virtually unbreakable. Our synthetic hair products have nearly 80% the in-water movement of our Marabou.
